Italian Food Seattle good PROM restaurant in seattle!?
Hi,
A group of eight friends and I want to have a really great prom experience…but we are having trouble picking restaurants! Three of the people going are extremely picky, and only want italian food, like with normal pasta and stuff. We still want it to be really nice though, and have a good atmopshere for prom.
Any ideas would be appreciated!!!
We have reservations (for now) at IL Fornaio, but I don’t know if that will work or not…
Bucca di Beppo, La rustica, the Pink Door (fun, downtown, food is pretty basic italian.)

You know go out to dinner, sightsee or do some shooting (photography). Money is not an issue (as it’s my birthday).
Any suggestions for restaurants? It can range from Bellingham down to Seattle.
Also, I eat beef, turkey, chicken and seafood…no pork. I have no special diet and my favorite foods are Mexican, Italian & Japanese.
how about going to a mexican resturant with some friends and family ?

Italian Food Atlanta Fancy Restaurants in Atlanta area?
heyy luvss…well im looking for some fancy restaurants in ATL with good ratings and good food–italian food specifically. do u know of any nice restaurants here? no chain restaurants please..i always get food poisoning from em..=.=…thnx!!
~brebaby <3~
I don’t know of any Italian restaurants that are “fancy” per se, but you can dress nicely to any of these places. Here are my favorites:
– Lucia’s (in Marietta) Everything is fresh and delicious and they make a walnut-pear salad that comes with the meal, that’s fabulous.
– Dominick’s (in Norcross) Atmospheric, upscale, great food.
– Carraba’s — I know, I know — it’s a chain. But their chicken marsala is better than any I’ve ever had and their restaurants are consistently good. (The olive oil concoction served with the bread is delish
– Fusco’s (Acworth) — This restaurant is worth the drive. Definitely upscale, interesting menu. Very good. Even though it’s not Italian, I always order their seared tuna, which is the best I’ve ever had.
– Alfredo’s (Atlanta) — another respondent cited this restaurant. It appeared last week on a Public Television show about the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Atlanta!

Carrabba’s Italian Food Carrabba's Italian Grill in California?
I wonder if once Carrabba Italian Grill will open in California? I've been to one in Arizona and thought the food was delicious, but I'd have a few here, mostly in southern California, where the Italian restaurants are very popular.
To be honest, I'm not a fan of Carabba. Like online gourmet food you can cook at home. Tastes 100 times better in my opinion.

Italian Food Houston What are some great and inexpensive resutrants to dine at, in or around the galleria in Houston?
I really like mexican food and italian food
Chacho’s its 24 hours. BUT the last time I was there I cut my hand really bad on the metal part of the restroom stall door. And the food quality at midnight was bad. But other times its good… Its cheap too. Good chili con queso..
El Patio is legendary. Home of the Blue margarita
Molina’s
Ninfa’s by the skating rink in the Galleria is good. I used to get drunk sitting there and watch the skaters fall. Its funny to me. But I grew up now. : (

What Italian Restaurant in Houston has a party room??
Ok, so my husband is Italian and his birthday is coming up. Last year was a huge disaster. We all met up at The Cheesecake Factory, and the manager had our whole party seperated and seated over the whole restaurant. They were not very accomadating. They dont take reservations, but we told them with plenty of time we were on our way. I just want this year to go more smoother and be fun for everyone. SO, any suggestions? His favorite food is Italian, so thats why I was thinking Italian food. But like I said, I want a place that can accomadate us (about 40-45 ppl). Thank You so much in advance!!
they have “family style” meals as well rather than everyone ordering their own separate meals. they have private rooms that you can request. they have different size rooms for different size parties. we had our regional Christmas party (Albany, NY) at one 2 years ago and then this past June my brother-in-law held a graduation dinner for my niece at one (Seattle, WA).
What are some affordable and great restaurants in Boston for: Lobster, Irish Food, and Italian Food????
Lobster- Meh. As a previous poster said try to get up to shack that sells lobster right out of the water. It will be the cheapest but no frills. They will cook it for you, give you a plate and plastic utensils and some butter.
Italian- Go into the North End of Boston. Throw a rock down the street and go into the building that the rock lands infront of. You will have the best Italian food you have ever tasted in that building.
Irish? No clue

Places to eat near Charles Playhouse, Boston, MA?
I am taking my boyfriend to see the Blue Man Group @ the Charles Playhouse in Boston in January. Looking for places in the vicinity that are walking distance from Charles Playhouse for dinner. Any suggestions? Please keep in mind that I dont want to do Chinese food. Anything Italian would suffice.
If you want Italian, “Maggianos” is your answer. Its 2.5 blocks from the Charles Playhouse. They have large portions, so make sure to split something.
But my other favorite restaurant around there is “Montein”, its Thai but is absolutely amazing. They have gotten award after award over the years and its practically across the street. And when in doubt, “California Pizza Kitchen” is right there as well!

What kind of food was this that I ate at an italian restaurant in New York City?
Awhile ago I went to a fancy Italian restaurant in New York City. I cant remember what the name was, just that someone that worked there or owned the restuarant has been on TV for cooking or something. Anyone have any idea what Italian restaurant it could’ve been that fits this descrption?
But my main question was while i was at this restaurant I ate this white stuff in a dish/bowl. I can’t remember the texture or anything or taste other than that it was whitish and tasted horrible (in my opinion). I’ve been puzzled over what this white stuff I ate was. It must have been Italian because I was at an Italian restaurant, and I just remember people dipping crackers or spreading stuff on crackers and such. Is there anyone out there who may have an idea of what type of food this was or at least what Italian restaurant this could’ve been so I can google their menu or something? I am really desperate to find out what this “stuff” was.
Thanks
Bean dip made with canellini beans, garlic, olive oil, parsley, lemon juice – dipped or spread on crackers or bread? Or could it have been a baccala spread – made with dried salted cod, mashed potato, olive oil and garlic?
As for the restaurant, do you remember what neighborhood it was in?

Italian Food Dallas Rehearsal dinner in Dallas, Texas?
My rehearsal at my venue is at 1:00pm in the afternoon, so I was wondering what would be a good time to start the rehearsal dinner because I do want it to be a dinner after all. Also, can anyone recommend a good place to have a rehearsal dinner for about 45 people in Dallas, Texas? We prefer italian or mexican food. Thanks!!!!
I can’t make the rehearsal later than 1 because there is going to be a wedding at the venue that evening.
How about Gloria’s in Addison.

What foods is the city of Dallas and Fort Worth known for?
New York has New York-style pizza and bagels, Chicago has
Chicago-style pizza and Italian beef, Philadelphia has the Philly cheesesteak. What about Dallas? What do they have specifically from that city?
Chicken-fried steak with cream gravy is the classic Dallas dish. Side dishes with chicken-fried steak are usually mashed potatoes, a biscuit, and country-style green beans.
Both Dallas and Fort Worth are also known for Tex-Mex food, which is different from true Mexican food. Texas-style chili is a related local dish.
For desert, you might have “Tres Leches” cake, a more or less Mexican dish that has gained popularity in the Dallas area in the last couple of decades.
As in most of Texas, Texas-style barbecue is also not to be missed in Dallas and Fort Worth.
Corny dogs, those things with a wiener on a stick surrounded by corn bread, were invented at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. Fletcher’s Corny Dogs is the original, and still the best, maker and seller of corny dogs. Other brands usually call them “corn dogs” or some other name, because Fletcher’s still owns the rights to the name “Corny Dog.”
In days gone by, Dallas was known as the home of Shanghai Jimmy’s Chili Rice, but Jimmy died several years ago and (as far as I know) no one is making his chili rice now.
Now I’ve made myself so hungry I’m going to stop and eat something.

Italian Food Las Vegas Las Vegas restaurants – suggestions please.?
i am getting married in Las Vegas next May and would like recommendation for romantic and intimate restaurant for wedding dinner. We are staying at The Luxor but would like to go out elsewhere. There are around 16-20 in our party, budget not a problem. I eat fish and shellfish but not meat or poultry. like Italian, Oriental, Indian, Mediterranean – most food really!
We chose Mon Ami Gabi at Paris for our wedding reception in September. There was a good menu choice, there were up to 3 alternatives for every course so everyone was happy, the service was fantastic, and we had great views of the Bellagio fountains. They have private and semi-private areas they can hire out for parties, it’s a fixed price menu (which helps with budgeting), and they also arranged a wedding cake for us to our design.
If that doesn’t appeal, the website below lets you search restaurants in Vegas with fixed price menus suitable for large groups by cost and cuisine.
Good luck!

Looking for italian restaurant in las vegas. scenic and tasty!?
Howdy. Im looking for an italian restaurant for a birthday dinner at the end of July. One perhaps with a scenic view and a dark candle lit atmosphere. Most restaurants ive looked into seem to be bright with lots of lights. More of a darker one with a nice view and great food for not a bunch of money. Ive looked into nove italiano even though its not the cheapest one, any recommendations please???
I really like Fellini’s @ the Stratosphere. It is a romantic little restaurant. My hubby and I had reservations to eat at the top of the world and for whatever reason they couldn’t accommodate us. So we ended up eating at Fellini’s. Now every time we are in Vegas we go eat there. They are pretty reasonable priced too.
Italian Food Delivery I am looking for ideas for a new bus. name.?
I live in Malibu Ca and am offering gourmet homestyle cooking for pick up or delivery. I live in a luxury resort style building and will be making my debut amongst my neighbors. Will offer the food to be left at the concierge for pick up or at my kithen door! Also am looking to make life easier for the wealthy stars and children to eat yummy, organic foods that require almost no prep when they get home, maybe pop it in the oven when they get home. I need a catchy name. My name is Linda Antico, I cook lot’s of italian, american, mexican, but can do anything. Any ideas?????????? Thanks!
What a fantastic business idea you have there! I wish you lots of success (and lots of cash!). I reckon that the root to go is a simple, wholesome name that really drives home your organic, homestyle food. My business name is Grumpy Turnip! Something like Cheeky Cow, Happy Carrot, Made With Love By Linda, Linda’s Table, Country Table…… I could go on forever. Hope this helps – good luck!
Italian Food Delivery
I work as restaurant hostess and am required to actually DRIVE to people’s houses and do deliveries?
I got this new job at Piatto..expensive Italian restaurant and they have me doing the take-out orders on the phone, transferring them into the computer, and also taking care of deliveries. (Taking the order through the phone and then taking the food to the customer’s house) I get paid 8 an hour plus tips. Do most hostesses do this kind of stuff?
During the orientation, the manager NEVER once told me that I would be required to deliver food. I’m horrible with directions
I would only be doing delivery in a certain neighborhood. And I would be using my car.
No, most restaurant hostesses don’t deliver. They stay in the restaurant.
I would find out some things: first, are you using your car? For company work? Then you can deduct the expense from your income taxes: gas, oil, maintenance, and even insurance. If you are using the company vehicle, then you need to know what and HOW you are insured while you are driving. If your company has not spelled this out, then you can refuse to use YOUR vehicle unless you get reimbursed for the excess expense and wear-and-tear!!
If you were not hired as delivery, then you need to tell the boss that you don’t do delivery, or find another job. Delivery people have special requirements–safety issues and vehicle issues that will affect their jobs. If you were to (god forbid) get into an accident while delivering food, who would pay for your accident? The company? You?
Do you know?
What if you’re mugged? What if you’re hijacked? Who pays and what is in place to ensure your safety as a delivery person?
Are you bonded? What if there is an unavoidable delay on the road–can the customer sue the company for non-delivery–or do they come after you? Have they taken out liability insurance for you or ON you as a delivery person? I sure hope so, or you may be liable for any problems that come up as a result of your attempting to do your job.
What about weather issues? If you skid on a wet or snowy street–and you have delivery food–and it’s ruined in the car, what happens to you or the order?
There are WAY too many questions you need to ask here that you didn’t ask, or they didn’t answer. And until these questions are answered to your fullest satisfaction and until the answers ensure your safety and security, I would not be doing deliveries!!
