What are some weird and wonderful facts about Italian food and the way Italians eat?

I'm doing a school presentation to Italian food and I thought it would make it more interesting if I use some interesting data.

Companies in Italy with a labor force over a certain size are required by law to provide employees with a cafeteria that serves hot lunch or give them food coupons can be redeemed for a fixed-price meals at some restaurants. c Italian) are very interested in preserving culinary traditions of their own area.
