hi i am an italian girl and i try to answerbut…first of all, you must know that i hate my Country..why?because in italy there are a lot of problems, especially for young people lie me that i want to get away from here..
however, about the food:pizza, pasta, ice-creams are our tipical food.
then, there is a strong difference between the south and the north of italy:in the south there are thousands of beautiful beaches, they are magnificient!!there are fabuolos cities like lecce, catania, napoli and so on..
instead, in the north you can visit milan, bologna but, if you want to listen to me, trieste is the most beautiful city of italy..why?because it is a city on the sea and the culture and the buildingsare very different from the other places:it was influenced by austria in the past
in italy traditions are very, very important(in my opinion they are too important and you must know that there is a strong influence by the church and especially by the pope.for example, there are strong limits for the science because science and religion are in contrast
but..you must spend some weeks here to learn our culture a little bit
