Fancy Restaurants in Atlanta area?

heyy luvss…well im looking for some fancy restaurants in ATL with good ratings and good food–italian food specifically. do u know of any nice restaurants here? no chain restaurants please..i always get food poisoning from em..=.=…thnx!!

I don’t know of any Italian restaurants that are “fancy” per se, but you can dress nicely to any of these places. Here are my favorites:
– Lucia’s (in Marietta) Everything is fresh and delicious and they make a walnut-pear salad that comes with the meal, that’s fabulous.
– Dominick’s (in Norcross) Atmospheric, upscale, great food.
– Carraba’s — I know, I know — it’s a chain. But their chicken marsala is better than any I’ve ever had and their restaurants are consistently good. (The olive oil concoction served with the bread is delish
– Fusco’s (Acworth) — This restaurant is worth the drive. Definitely upscale, interesting menu. Very good. Even though it’s not Italian, I always order their seared tuna, which is the best I’ve ever had.
– Alfredo’s (Atlanta) — another respondent cited this restaurant. It appeared last week on a Public Television show about the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Atlanta!

¿Cómo son los auténticos restaurantes étnicos en los EE.UU.?

Es evidente que Taco Bell no cuenta como una buena comida mexicana, jeje. Tengo curiosidad por saber de personas que están en los EE.UU. de otros países … Si usted está chinos, por ejemplo … ¿Cómo es la auténtica comida que se sirve en un restaurante chino estándar en Estados Unidos? La misma pregunta a todos los demás … japonesa, mexicana, , Etc italianos Además, ¿alguien sabe de algunos realmente, realmente buena comida mexicana en el área metropolitana de Atlanta? Tenemos un gran número de inmigrantes mexicanos aquí, y hay toneladas de mexicanos restaurantes, pero la mayoría de ellos son las cadenas, y trato de mantenerse alejado de las cadenas de restaurantes. Estoy buscando un poco regordete, de agujeros en el restaurante local de la pared, la mamá y que es propiedad de la familia y ha la abuela de 80 años de edad, no cocinar los frijoles refritos … hechas con manteca de cerdo en lugar de Crisco, etc ¿Alguien puede ayudarme?

mi papá no comía una hamburguesa de ir a un restaurante chino, todos los platos se utiliza la misma spises, azúcar, salsa de soja, el vinagre. Si queremos comer comida china, lo hacemos en casa:)
