How I can enjoy the job I hate?
I have 2 jobs. I love one and I hate you. The job I love teaching guitar lessons drum lessons and swimming lessons at the YMCA. I enjoy every minute of that job. Unfortunately, not enough money to be my only job. Also work at Fazoli's (Italian fast food restaurant) and I hate it. The management is bad, the boss is rude, the schedule is not until literally the night before beginning, and I can not find anything good in it. The problem is I hate going to work every day, but I want to look forward to it. What I can do to get the best of a bad situation and enjoy the work? I look forward to not fear that every day ..
Hi Tim, Yes, the YMCA concert sounds rewarding. How about ads for guitar and drum lessons in your local newspaper and by posting flyers in the city (cafes, etc) to see if you can get more teaching jobs? If you get enough responses, I could get rid of fast food and fill the gap of time to work you love. Another possibility is to teach through community education. My neighborhood receives a quarterly / seasonal newspaper has a menu of classes taught by people who have a specialty in one area or another, ie, photography, water aerobics, personal finance, music, etc. Perhaps the so does yours? Why Fazoli around Houston, Tx closing?
Italian is the only fast food here .. I do not understand why they close!? One on Highway 249/Cypresswood FM 1960 and I am sure they are closed
