When going to restaurants BYOB, IDs are checked, or is of course they are old enough to buy drink?
The only restaurants BYOB I was to have been Japanese or Indian restaurants where the service personnel actually do not speak English very well. I'm worried about going to an Italian restaurant or somewhere where they speak English and may request identification documents. Anyone know the rules about this?
Well, the law is the law wherever you go, and if you're under of age who are at risk of getting into trouble every time I try to take something in that facility – they risk losing their liquor license for serving you. and yet I noticed that BYOB restaurants of any national or ethnic cuisine is much less likely to check their identification of a BYOB place not of any national or ethnic cuisine. Just keep going to places where you know you're safe.
