Easy Italian Food Recipes
Easy recipe that tastes good?
I need an easy recipe that also tastes good. I wanted to do italian food but i really dont know what to make. Any help? (it wont matter if it isnt italian food)
What about chicken parmigiana? Pretty much you make a good spaghetti (or whatever noodle you want) and make breaded chicken. (You can either buy already breaded or use like shake and bake and make it yourself. ) Once the chicken is cooked then put the spaghetti, chicken sauce and some motzerella cheese on top in one pan then bake it to melt the cheese.
Easy Italian Food Recipes

YOUR easy “tried and true” recipes? (Esp. Italian)?
Hey all,
One of my coworkers recently suffered a stroke, and some people have joined Food Tidings to schedule meals to deliver to the coworker and his family to help them during this difficult time.
I definitely want to participate, but am NOT a creative cook, nor do I come from a family where I learned to cook. The only thing I can think to make at the moment is lasagne (my grandmother’s recipe), but I DO want to contribute more than one dish.
I was wondering if anyone has some “tried and true” recipes (the family apparently loves Italian food, but it doesn’t have to be… they also don’t have any food allergies) that they’d be willing to share with me. I can follow directions, but I just need some suggestions on what could be REALLY good and somewhat easy/not too time consuming to prepare. It also has to be able to be refrigerated or reheated well, since I will be dropping off the food in a cooler.
Note: A bunch of links WOULD NOT be helpful in this case.
Thanks!
Chicken Italianio
3 lbs chicken breasts, cut up
3-6 tbsp salad oil
12 garlic cloves
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dried rosemary leaves
1 medium-sized onion, sliced
4 medium-sized tomatoes, cute into wedges
1 8 oz pkg spaghetti
In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot salad oil, cook chicken and garlic until golden brown on all sides, about 20-25 minutes. When done, add wine, salt, pepper, rosemary, onion and half the tomato wedges; over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender. Skim fat from liquid in skillet (if there is any). Add remaining tomatoes; heat through. While this is simmering, prepare spaghetti as label direct.
To serve, drain spaghetti; place on large platter. Spoon chicken mixture on top of spaghetti.
