Cooking Chili
I'm cooking chile and is too watery, how I can make it thicker?

Mix 1 / 4 cup corn flour around 1 / 2 cup cold water. Stir in and see if you like the thickness. You can always add more of the same, if that is not enough. Mass (for tortillas) is better if available. Is finer than corn meal and is more subtle.

what is the point of cooking chili in a pressure cooker?

I know you can cook in a regular pan, and a clay pot, but why in a pressure cooker. Thank you! Thank you, but I meant the real chili with tomatoes, meat, beans (cooked) spices, etc.

The use a pressure cooker is a method of cooking beans without soaking first. Pressure cookers cook beans without soaking with fairly quickly. Therefore, it is logical to use a pressure cooker, if someone takes Chile without using canned beans or beans soaked:. Edit in this case, there would be no need to use a pressure cooker to Chile. Unless its used to reduce the amount of time Chile is cooked over low heat. Some people like your peppers cooked slowly until nice and thick and tasty. A pressure cooker can do it in less time.
