Lose weight with great food…… help please!!!!!?

I am 23, will be 24 next month, I have had two kids, and a lot of stress, which in turn has caused me to gain like 50lbs in the last year….(unfortunately). My husband just deployed and will be back in January 2010. I need some great tips on how to cut calories, or great recipes with fewer calories than most. And keep in mind that I have a 2 and a 3 year old, so it has to be kid friendly. : ) We like all types of food… Mexican, Italian, American….. and anything in between! So long story short I want to be 135lbs again!!! And SUPER hot when my husband gets back!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Also, I’m a working mom, so meals that are quicker would be great!!!! Like as in, less that two hours, quick!!!

Try the book Fit for Life. I lost about 20lbs so far to lower blood pressure. I only need to lose 5 more. I also joined weight watchers. I like the commitment of having to weigh in. They have a option of participating online if you can’t or don’t want to go to meetings. Something about making that commitment that makes it more serious. Having said that I honestly believe nutrition is the key to controlling your cravings and losing weight. Here is a sample of my day. I warn you it may come across as extremely boring. I have a fruit smoothie every morning. Use a apple, banana, cup of strawberries, cup of blueberries, vanilla yogurt, flax seed, small amount of water. Have a piece of fruit or grain muffin for snack, Have a Garden burger for lunch, have a mid afternoon snack, have fish and veggies for dinner. Have a evening snack. I do this seven days a week and make sure you stay within the allowed points at weight watchers. They allow you to splurge a little once a week. There are good and nutrious weight watcher meals. Don’t lose over two pounds a week as your body will panic and go into survival mode and actually store fat, the opposite of what you want to accomplish

what is the healthiest choice on this menu?

i recently lost a lot of weight. im still on a strict caloric intake, but i am going out with family and friends sunday night for dinner. we are going to Salvatore’s, which is an italian restaurant, like Bertuccis. i was wondering what i should order that will not have too many calories in it. also, what foods should i avoid? here is the menu: http://www.salvatoresboston.com/SalvLawd…
what should i order? and tell me how many calories are in it as well! (about) and if i should make any modifications
also, how many calories are in a grapefruit? a whole, raw grapefruit?
they do have salad, which i can get shrimp or chicken on. but, my mom has been on me about my eating habits lately, so i really cant get the salad without her being suspicious and commenting. so i need another option
